I'm quite bad at these things, but here goes..

I'm Niels, I'm currently studying English Culture and Language at Leiden University, The Netherlands. Sadly this has been a bit of a dissapointment, all the more a surprise because there's nothing I love more than literature, and this seems to take up a large role in the entire course.
I have been looking for ways to revive my interests in literature and English in general, and I happened to stumble across these boards. I've read a bunch of interesting stuff, and I've actually felt the urge to drag my Norton Anthology of the shelf, so it seems I'm at the right place here :)
You might happen to read some mindfarts of mine, but I'm more comfortable when just reading yours, and I'm quite certain I'm going to read some good ones ;). So, in great expectations I stay,

your humble servant,

AnotherShot, a.k.a. Niels.

I'm not sure that humility is permitted here, Niels - but welcome!

Welcome to LitNet Niels. I hope this can ignite your interest in literature again. How far into school are you? I'm curious because I know I've been burned out my studies since about half way through my degree, but I'm also not in love with my field. Regardless, it may just be too much of a good thing.

Thx for the welcome :)

Hockenberry: I'm currently preparing for the resits of my first year, I neglected most of my work because I valued rowing higher than studying, so all I do now is writing essays and study syntax. Syntax is one of the reasons people invented murder.
