hello every one. this fan club is started by me and baki. what we can do is start reading the book over. we just comment and say what we think of the chapters and the book. what we understand and what we get the meaning. you can post pictures of eragon and of such. baki can take it from hear and start to say any other ideas. if you have question feel free to post and ask. actually the more you ask questions the more people think this is a ongoing thread:lol: .

Yup I'm dusting out my Eragon Copy as we speak (sadly it's stuck under a book pile that's carefully close to falling on me and probably giving me a concussion). If you don't know what the books is about, It doesn't matter, START READING PEOPLE! ~And if you don't have it, then go buy it or you shall fight the might of my almighty ninja powers!

i can't wait until he writes the 3rd one, i'm just a little angry that i can't find out what happens at the end, but at the same time i don't want to get to the end and expect more, then it really sucks cause he won't be writing these books anymore

ok, sorry, got carried away.:lol: what did you do when you found out that murtaght was eragons brother? it was terrible for me. you see i was trying to set a reckord for myself. i had finished eragon in four days and i was trying to make that cut for eldest. well it so happened that my parents called me for dinner just when the war began! so i ate as fast as i could then went back in my room to read. just about when i got back into my book my parents called me again to have a family descusion. i could of died!!:flare: :crash: so after the family descusion, it lasted about an hour, it was 9 o'clock and i had to go bed at ten. do you think i did? no way! i staid up to like 12, dont tell:lol: , and finished the book. it was so good!

oh i have to tell this. it is so funny! well there was this lady at are church and her great nephew, he's 12, had lucimia. so i wrote him a letter. it just so happened to be right after i read the first book. well at the end i signed.

well as you know that's a curse! but i didn't read the second book yet. i had it with me but hadn't go t to that spot. well, i didn't sned the letter yet 'cause we had no stamps. i read the part were eragon found out about the curse that night. and just had a heart attack. i ran out of my room searching for my letter. i finally found it and fixed it. it's not that it would come true like it did with eragon. but if her had found out what that ment i would feel terrible! thank heavan i found out what it meant!

I was so glad when I found out he was Eragon's brother. I wonder what will happen to him on the 3rd book. For some reason Arya always reminds me of Eowyn, weird, does that then makes Eragon Strider? Maybe she's based in Eowyn? *confused*.

so staying on subject... what was your favorite part in eragon when eragon finds out that he was a dragon rider and when brom and him first start our there mission.

i would say favorite part was when eragon first rode on saphira. christipher had a way of writing it that made me think my legs were getting sore. lol!

I love when Brom joins Eragon and when Eragon meet Murtaght. I'm more into the battle scenes though and of course when he dreamt and later met Arya.

another thing in the next book, is Eragon going to be the only dragon rider without a sword? Remember, murtagh took it away from him at the end of eldest, so is he going to kill galbatorix or is someone else, and then is eragon's weapon going to be the great bow of doom sung from a tree by the elf queen?

remember when eragon was with the elves during training? there was the elf who was quite quire and she was the one who made zar'roc. (i can't think of her name off hand) well, why can't she make eragon a new sword. that might be the answer, my freind, to your question.

no not really, at least that's what i think. remember eragon is able to live as long as an elf now, so it isn't really that big of a differance.

What makes the distinction? if we sift through it, then the Fantasy board becomes obsolete, since every book worth discussing will be moved to here. The point of my previous post was not to bash the book, just to point out that it is in the wrong place.

i know this was posted a while ago x, but i am rereading eldest and this reminded me of your question. it is a better answer then what i first had answered.

When the times comes and you need a weapon, look under the roots of the Menoa tree. Then, when all seems lost and your power is insufferiant, go to the rock of Kulhain and speak your name to open the Voult of Souls.

Or he remembered the special meaning of bank account. Lets be honest - fans, if they have read 2, and are planning on reading 3, will buy the forth regardless of how bad the third is. This way he gets his loyal fans for double the money, and gets double publicity, and extended movie rights, in addition to money generated from promotion.

It makes no difference of whether or not the series is better in 3 or 4, in 4 he is better off financially. I have not ruled out the possibility of a 5th, or even a 6th, in addition to fall-out novels within the same world. I wouldn't call it unlikely, as you may note, Robert Jordan's 6 book series The Wheel of Time, is at a standstill before the incomplete 13th novel goes into print, with the 2 other planned prequels being "forgotten about" because of lack of notes. Fantasy literature seems to suffer from greed in this way.
