Get your Newspaper

I just posted in the Random Thought thread and it got me to thinking. My local news isn't very good. I'm looking for a monthly or weekly magazine/newspaper that has balanced news coverage. I would like both international and national news but if was seperate magazines that would be ok too. And I'm not a big fan of Time or Newsweek. What do y'all read? (I am so gettiing the hang of this southern lingo)

I read Dutch newspaper. I can really recommend the NRC Next for national and international news. :p

The Economist is a great magazine/newspaper that you might want to try.

The main news magazine I subscribe to is Macleans (http://www.macleans.ca/) it is really more canadian news specific but it does address world happenings as well

Most definitly read Vanity Fair.

I read Arabic newspapers, I's recommend reading Al-Ahram Weekly for international news (but basically for Middle-east and related news), that's the main newspaper in Egypt, but an English version of it.
I second The Ecomonist, they have one of the BEST Speical Reports sections.

The Guardian. A uk newspaper that we have here in Ireland. And as the others said The economist is a good rag.
