The world will never have had
its fill of poetry.
When the last priest
is preaching the last
perfectly symmetrical sermon
to the last parishioner
poets will still be rhyming
lust and anarchy and
joy--the holiness of life
without God or politics.

I am deeply sorry to tell you that we only get to pick one of the four...

But given your love for AC Doyle, I'd urge you to rent buy or steal a copy of Arthur & George by Julian Barnes, Man! That is good reading.

Ha!, Ha!, Ha! Eu Contraire...
Sounds to me...like a Dare!!!
Choose just One?
Can't be done!
Decisions just annoy me!
I can't abide those rules, you see...I'm a Gemini!

I've been meaning to read that one....Thanks!

Holy moments
Live them and let them
Give them and get them
It matters not, where
Or who or even why
But that from pen to loins
We are yet alive
to give holy moments

Specially love "from pen to loins". I understand that the more accurately current "from keyboard to loins" would have lacked a certain poetic je ne sais pas quoi!

Maybe we could get a sequence going, something like:

Keying in my love for you
alt 3 / enter...

"Kinky" playful is okay with me. Kinky for the sake of defying the norm, kinky just to be outrageous or "different" is not my cup of tea. As I wrote somewhere else:

I wanted to be different, but
I couldn't find anyone
worth being different from.

Gently as though
through a needle's eye
the code will wither,
the seed will die.
