You loved it.

I've enjoyed literature since before I could even read it myself and stuck with it the entire time. I'm now an English major. On summer vacation, I realized I don't have many hometown friends that will just sit down and discuss literature, so that's why I'm here.

I just read Ubu Roi, and just started Waiting for Godot, and then a few more plays that a friend let me borrow (curriculum for a course he took spring semester). I'm also in the middle of Longman second edition of Paradise Lost and Tree of Knowledge by Varela and Maturana. I've been watching Jean-Luc Godard films daily or bi-daily for the past week.

Welcome!!

You'll find loads of people here to talk to!

I was thinking about reading Paradise Lost over the summer. Is it good?

Yes; I've read it before for coursework, but the real point of the Longman edition is the multitude of footnotes from Alastair Fowler. He's really a brilliant scholar.

Hey, welcome. I also still need to read Paradise Lost. I'm a bit intimidated though, but whatever. Anyways, like Weisinheimer, I'm sure you'll fit right in.
