Had a lot of problems in my life, both mental and physical but, just looking through saved files on my computer and came across these...
On the Importance of Friendship
Before my friend
There was nothing left to live for
Now?
I would die for my friend
Greeting (This one came to me from someone in New Zeland!)
Have a great and wonderful day and may it be filled with bubbles of laughter & Joy and may there be rainbows shining bright at each turn you make throughout the day.
I Wish
If I say I wish it was tomorrow...
They say I'm wishing my life away
If I say I wish it was yesterday...
They say I should move forward
I think I'll just say...
I wish it was not today!
Scream
I want to scream but,
Have no mouth.
I open my mouth but,
Have no voice
This one was written by my daughter shortly after 9/11
If the world was to end this very day
And I had one wish I would have to say
If evil hate and war had gone
All the world may live as one
No matter what religion or colour of face
We all belong to the human race
If happiness love and hope were true
The whole wide world will have to pull through
No matter what people have done in the past
In God’s eyes sin won’t last
If people believe that this is right
There is no reason for the world to fight
No wonder people snide and will remark
Children can’t even play in the park
The world has turned into a bitter place
There is no definition of the human race
Always loud news all over the press
The whole world is now a mess
Can’t the fighting just stop dead
People will live to break their bread
And if the world was to end at sunset
People will die with hate and regret
But if the world was to live another day
People can forgive and children can play
If the world was to end at this time
I wish one wish and that be mine.
It made me cry then, it makes me cry now.
