The Party
Walking blindly into mayhem,
While the evening shifts to night
Blaring sounds and beer filled fountains
Cheer the men who bring you life
Let the couches fit the plenty
While the floors will fit the dead
Forget the day you left behind
And mind the troubling times ahead
May your chords don’t ever falter
May the song not ever end
Let the voices singing fade together
Feel the harmony instead
Smile once, and I will love you dear
Touch my hand as I reach your way
Let me know you want me there
