If I was a cloud, I would change for every day.
I would carry to the end of earth and float in every way
If I was a fish, I would swim the pirate ships
And find a home in sunken bones, and give that shark the slip
If I was a house, I would make a merry home
And children laughs would echo through my wooden structure bones
If I was a boat, I would carry cross the sea
And find the endless waters blue, that’d be the end of me
If I was a shoe, I would dance through the night air
I’d take no dirt, no feet would hurt, I’d be the boys best pair
If I was a cow, I’d stand til my feet were sore
I’d eat, and sleep, and stare, and eat, and then I’d stand some more
If I was a bird, I would own this kingdom sky
And soar upon my wings so wide, and let the air be mine
If I was a song, I would hold your soul up high
I’d sing for you, when you were down, and never let you die.
