think koa's seen this on The Crossed Keys (no not the wedding site). also isagel. wish i could get to your site ihrocks, but comp isn't behaving...this is a few months old. almost used it for my sig but that would be annoying.
(historical note: wrote this after leaving forum as az. had stopped writing. realized one day would have to again, to my dismay at the time.)

…dragging bruised arteries from this vessel - from a picture in my head of light green pottery on a bureau, ordinarily a safe place to cloister one's dishes/wishes:

blood spills the secrets
run out my heart cannot hide
in this tilted bowl

As I think and type,
I wonder what will be ripe
for posting Haiku.

I like the line in italics best, but it's all good.

Does anyone know what is going on in this thread? Or is it another haiku thread that we have overlooked? **blinks in wonder**

Seems to me it was Amuse who tried to start it a long time ago,
ending with:
in this tilted bowl (I`ll pick that one up):
lots of flowers used to be
now there are just snails :eek2:

(it should maybe be BUT instead of just?)

now there are just snails
born to this earth without pain
and without knowledge

moist skin slithering
silvery threads following
slow nature movements

their bodies like tongues
lapping up the world around
watch them as they glide

gentle receptors
delicately seek ahead
stretched antenna eyes
