For Those Of You That Are Still In School

During the time you went to school, or if you are still going to school, did your school have "portable classrooms"? What do you thing of them?

Yea, I guess so. I'm on the west coast where we call them portables. Ya know, the buildings that are brought in because the school has outgrown its size and then used as classrooms.

We had them at the school I went to. My school was cheap though and just brought in a couple of trailers like the ones you get at construction sites. They werent too bad, no multimedia stuff but my school didnt have much in the way of computers anyway.

yeah there that ones! We call them prefabs in Ireland. My school didnt have them but a few of the bigger schools did. We used to use them as huts for our gear and breaks in archaeology.

In middleschool there were portables. Not at the highschool though...they were small and a pain to sit in when it was burning hot or freezing!

my elementary/primary school had a few trailers outside used as classrooms because it became so big...so did some other public schools. they were like any other classroom, so i didn't mind.

my porokial school had some of those, the thermostat didn't work and the school didn't have money to fix it. we got a bottle of water to freeze solid in an hour in Januray in michingan, and we got a 2 liter of water to completely evaporate tpward the end of school, that is what is truly troture, sitting in an extremely hot room, with an old crone creaking along on math, if you fell asleep, you were put in front of the board where everyone looked at you throughout the entire rest of the day

Yes, there are portables at my school, and there were some in my past schools. They're alright. Just another classroom to me.
