Yes, unless the beer is any of the following:
Any light beer
Bud
Coors
Any variant of Molson
Heinekken
Castlemaine XXXX
Stella
Holsten Pils
The answer becomes definitely if you have:
Hoegaarden
Kronenburg
C'est What
Steamwhistle
Harp
Nookie Brown
Boddingtons or
Rickards Red
Can I have wine instead - beer makes me bloated.

Hoegaarden
Kronenburg
C'est What
Steamwhistle
Harp
Nookie Brown
Boddingtons or
Rickards Red
where are these from?
hehe, if you want to taste some really good (local, non-massproduced) beers, you should visit Bavaria :D (yes, I know that was predictable).
you can stay at Sleepy&Husband's cozy bed and breakfast (=couch) if you bring a haggis for my dad :D

Lets see now:
Hoegaarden - Belgian I think it is made from wheat, very nice stuff although perhaps an acquired taste
Kronenburg 1664 - This is either French or Belgian, another of my favourites. Nice clean taste
C'est What - Canadian bottled in Toronto's distillery district. It has hemp in it, the name is a play on words: Hemp? Say what?
Steamwhistle - Another toronto microbrewery, located near the harbour. I've had some enjoyable days down their on a sunny afternoon looking out at the lake.
Nookie Brown - You may be more familiar with the name Newcastle Brown Ale. A nice dark beer
Boddingtons - The cream of manchester
Rickards Red - Canadian, I like red beers and this is my favourite of them.
Harp - Irish, often overlooked by people going for guinness but it is ten times nicer
And as far as the trip to sample beer from bavaria goes - yeah, that'd be cool. I'll be arriving monday. There is a great place in the merchant city section of glasgow where they sell beers from all over the world. I remember there was some preety good german & Czech beers but I couldnt pronounce them so I just looked and pointed.
Hey! I happen to like 'Stella Artois' ... and 'Moosehead'.
Well liking moosehead (I always keep a 12 of moose in the house) cancels out the Stella misstep. Have you Tried Alexander Keiths? It is similar to moosehead
Castlemaine XXXX - no ider what this one is
Its cheap Australian stuff, even worse than Fosters Ice (if that is possible). However a lot of places in Glasgow it can be found on sale as 8 500ml cans for 5 pounds

I am having a Leinehugels Sunset Wheat. It's pretty good when you've got Miller Light and all the others to choose from.
Let me just describe the American Beer Case (at your average grocery store here in my town):
The premium beers
Killians Red (I like)
Blue Moon (pretty good)
Heinekin (ehh)
Guiness (ehh)
Bass (I like)
Pete's Wicked Ale (I love it)
And the list goes on
When I want something special I like to go to the liquor store (you get more bang for your buck)--- I love fall because they have the most delicious pumpkin ale ever. Fall is also good because of this event called the brewers jam and you go to the park and sample all kinds of beers.
and if you're low on cash and want to drink your troubles away a forty of Steel Reserve or St. Ides is the way to go (but I don't recommend that very often)
And I have discovered that different towns have different beers for sale. and some local restaurants have microbreweries in them and you can get some good beer in those places. And there's usually about four to choose from: a light beer, a stout beer, an amber (I do like amber ales) and a seasonal.
And another awesome beer I had at a Mexican restaurant was a Carta Blanc ---but it's hard to get.

Death Angel... I'm with you on the wine. I think I may be adding it to my shopping list and enjoying some wine and a nice book tonight. Relaxation would be very nice after the day I've had. I am really bogged down by class at the moment. My last business class, strategic management, and I am just not in the game. I think the brain decided to go on holiday, at least from school. All my other interests are demanding their time which is why I'm here rather than completing my case study.

Hey! I happen to like 'Stella Artois' ... and 'Moosehead'.
ok, I'll admit I drank a whole bottle of Stella when I cleaned out my house in England. but it was "the hottest summer we've had in 100 years" (like every summer in England) and it was straight out of the fridge... so the first half wasn't too bad and by the time I reached the second half, I was so tipsy (because I hadn't had any food) that I didn't mind :D

Same here. I have never actually ever had any sort of beer or even wine (light alcohol), which wouldn't probably even mean 'getting drunk' but still I have this phobia or you can say that my aesthetical sense doesn't approve of alcohol, well leaving medicine. Oh and I can't laugh while someone is getting drunk. Is there something wrong with me?

I had a bottle of Pinot Noir last night. Pinot Noirs always seem a little watery to me.. no thickness to them at all.. compared to cabs that normally have a lot of body.
My favorite wine is Syrah. Then Red Zin, then Cabernet.
Chilean Wines are excellent as well (they are more acidic due to the fact that the vines are young)
Of course Hot Sake always goes down well =)

Of course there are a lot of German beers that I like. Especially from my home region Westphalia: There are beers like Veltins, Warsteiner, Krombacher, or Brinkhoffs No. 1 from Dortmund - I have always some bottles of these at home.
And there is Koenigs Pilsener from our neighbour town Duisburg. Not bad. Some people say the well, where the brewery gets the water from, is situated below the biggest cemetery of the Ruhr-area, but I don't believe this ...

I'll have a beer right about now.
Rough day at work, I'm just getting home now. My day started out getting information on an incident that happened yesterday. Then an acid pipe started leaking, badly. While deciding what to do about the leak we noticed the valve in the containment area where the leak occurred was open and the acid reached the soil making it something I needed to report to the authorities. After that was under control an employee spotted a truck leaking acid which requires reporting as well. I went back and forth on the phone with the trucking company and the police.

Just back rom my favourite watering hole where I have been in deep discussion with some drinking companions and an attractive young Norwegian lady who is on her way to the Canary Islands for a holiday; why is it that they are always about to to depart somewhere or other? However, I can honestly say that the superbly powerful beer Leffe Blonde interspersed with double brandy cokes is about as good as it gets unless we are talking about drinks for women and children.

Ohio's got some wineries I'd like to try out. When I was younger I went to one with my parents, somewhere on Kelly's Island or Put-In-Bay, but being a youngin at the time, I tasted only their grape juice. Now that I'm old enough for big kid refreshments I may have to make a return trip. I hear excellent things about the wineries around there.

I worked with a nice fellow from Mexico a few years back, and he brought with him a few obscure brands of Mexican beer, and I was surprised at how refreshing they were!

I have to say that Mexico makes great beers. They are different than the European types, but they are so refreshing.

yuck, I cant stand mexican beers - tasteless, useless, horrid weak pisswater. And the likes of bud arent much better.
Give me a nice dark beer. perhaps a leffe brune

It's river drinking season again, here in Southern Ontario... weather is warmed up nicely, and it's time for brass monkeys- 40 oz of cheap beer mixed with frozen orange juice concentrate. xD. (We're alcoholics, we'll drink anything.)

Beautiful, unique clear bottle, and great-looking drink, but always gave me a headache after 4 or so.
