What's the worst day of the week for you?

For me it's probably Sunday afternoon. Sunday afternoons are really depressing. Unless we've got something planned I get bored, and then I think I'll be glad to go back to work. I hate that. I hate that Sunday afternoons make me glad to go to work the next day.

Tuesday's are also pretty depressing. Tuesdays make me wish the working week wasn't so long.

Thursdays I'm always tired.

But Sunday afternoon tops it because it makes me wonder if this is as good as it gets (to quote Jack Nicholson).

Sunday all the way, but, now I work on the weekends and get wed/thurs off, so thats kind of shot, but I hated sunday for the rush to get things done, the not sleeping during the day, and going to work exhausted (I start work at 23:00) so, sundays are generally just crappy. :crash:

I don't like Thursday because it's the most stressful day of the work week.

I work M-F and sometimes Friday night can be a real bummer also. You'd think it would be one of the better days, but both me and my husband are just completely shot by the time we get home and we tend to get on each other's nerves.

Neither one of us feels like making dinner and we're both very grouchy. One thing that has helped is getting take-out or just going out to eat (but that's expensive). I don't know though, it might be worth it.

I think that's pretty common. We have a 'light' meal on a Friday, something you can make in 5 minutes like soup, or beans on toast, or something. Has the benefit of being cheap, quick, guiltless (i.e. generally pretty low fat and healthy!) and takes the edge off the grouchiness.

All weekend is better than the week I think...although i never have "nothing" to do anymore unfortunately.
Mondays tie with wednesdays for me.

good thread idea!

At the moment we feel as if we were living in a kind of Zen time so we can't pick any.

Sunday.
because it's a "working day" for me. it's when I catch up on all the studying i didn't get done during the week.
most terms I'm foced to do my homework on Sundays because all the important courses/those with the biggest workload tend to be taught on Monday or Tuesday. so even if I have all the time in the world to do my homework on Wednesday, that's no use because I'd forget everything I read by Friday. :(
it's not that I don't like studying.. the only problem is I keep nodding off over my homework on Sundays, no matter how much sleep I got at night.

another reason I don't like Sunday is because I'm a penny-less student and can't afford to do any of the nice things I'd like to do at the weekend: daytrips, etc.

I like Mondays,though :)

Sunday's bad because Monday is almost upon us, but Monday is the real bummer.

I don't like Thursdays, I don't know why. I think it's because the week is really starting to get wearisome. Wednesdays, I generally like. They just sound better. ~shrug~

Sunday evenings suck because I can't do anything fun because I'll get hyper and want to stay up late like I did the past weekend and then I'll go to school Monday dead tired. Just shifting back into work is no fun. :(

Mondays are pretty bad, too because it's the beginning of the week.

The start of the week is always a pain for me...so, Mondays should be banned! that wouldn't help though, would it? heh...

Sometimes I like weekends, and sometimes I hate it, and similarly for the weekdays. My liking a particular day entirely depends upon my mood. But, there is a time at any given day, I may feel miserable. And, that time is the afternoon, any day, if I am at home and not doing anything, I just lie down and stare endlessly into the space. Many a times I feel sleepy but can't sleep because I am scared of sleeping. I have this sinking feeling as if something is going to end. This continues till say 5, after which I am okay.
