1. My icon. Zoolander is the greatest movie of all time.
2. I won a trip to LA to see SpikeTV's the Taurus World stuntmen Awards. Airfare for two, the whole shebang. Im going in like two weeks and I find out monday if I get to walk down the red carpet.
Oh, and Admin, if this is in the wrong section could you move it general chat? I meant to put it there but...

Yeah, part of the comedy lies in the absurdity. I made that up right now, I swear. And the random cameos are great, so shameless. The movie really does not take itself seriously, not even for a second, until the last second, and the last second sucks.

*tries to remember what the last second was* "Random cameos"?? It was frickin ALL cameos! :D :D That has to be one of the strangest movies I've ever seen. Not so much to look at, but there was an underlying weirdness... like talking to someone who acts normally, but is actually completely ape-**** out of their mind.
"I have a news flash for you, Walter Cronkite. You think you're so smart, but you . . . . . . . . . . . aren't."
Oh, and by the way, my dad wants to steal the epitaph, "We miss you and your muscular buttocks."
:D And, P.S., I want to have Owen Wilson's children. :D :D

While Zoolander made me laugh, alot of it was just randomness and sometimes random is not funny just strange. What a strange movie, but I did like it, though it is not on my top ten list of altime funny movies. I can't really think of what those movies would be, but if I had them it wouldn't be there. Maybe that's an idea for a thread, funniest movies, there are so many.

My favorite is after David Duchoveney's character is finished bashing male models and how stupid they are. He drops his flashlight and tries to pick it up with that glass stasis bubble over his hand.

damnit!!! I guess you have to see it.
:(
Geeeeeze! You guys are missing the best part about Zoolander... Ben Stiller directing, producing and starring in it. :D
He was great in Permanent Midnight too.

He's really only good if he's got good co-stars to play off of, like Owen Wilson.

Umm, no. But you really cannot watch the movie like most other comedies... its ok to laugh at how rediculous it all is.
"Mer-Man........ MER-MAN!!!!"
"How can we expesct the children to learn how to read if they cnt even fit inside the building? It should be at least... 3 times this big."
"It just goes to show thatr even models can die in a freak gasoline fight accident."
What, you think Im not smart enough to know what a Yagooguhlee was?
"What do we do when we fall of the horse?" ..."Sorry Maury, Im not a gymnast."
"The files are IN the computer? Its so simple..."
I could go on for weeks. I knew every line in the movie at one point. I watched it 5 times in a row. Its that good.
Oh yeah, watch Kung Pow, it is funny along those same lines.
