I am generally conflicted about modern literature. Sometimes I just get bogged down in the dreary existentialism. Occasionally I read something modern that is really fine though. How do ya'll feel?
John Irving is a classic example of my modern lit. quandry. Also, I'll add this interview link, it's nice to see that even authors can get on TV :) It's worth a look.
