which products/goods/amenities/inventions do you consider essential for a humane, possibly "happy" existence?
which are not absolutely essential but would be nice anyway?
which are totally nonsensical and unnecessary?

can you list some products/goods/amenities/inventions and rate them as either

- essential = everybody needs them and should have them
- not essential but nice
- unnecessary = they don't make people happy, nobody needs them

what about education of some sort? even if it's only "how to light a fire or build a hut for shelter"?

O.K. I'll buy that. But, still, I'll put "basic survival education" under NICE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL.
