hi. im 7th form at school and i need to find a book which has a similar plot or themes to that of Hamlet. Im sure one of Anton Chekhovs books could serve as a book i can use to link to Hamlet...but ive never read any of Chekhovs books and if anyone knows what is most similiar to Shakespeares Hamlet could you please let me know?? Thankyou very much :)

I have seen an adaptation of Chekhov's Three Sisters and the director drew comparisons with Hamlet. Personally having not read Hamlet, I can't add to this. But try The Three Sisters and see. :)
