Old Tom and the Tractor

The old farmer plodded along
Behind his old mule team.
Young man on a tractor,
Drove up and blew off steam.
"Oughta git yerself a tractor, Tom!
Dew thet field in half-no time!"
Old Tom spat, and said "Ah knows.
But hit cain't furtilize at t'same time!"

Hahaha! To be honest, I started reading, for some reason, with the feeling that in the end I'd shrug my shoulders and think to myself, 'so?'. As it turns out, I almost laughed aloud - which is quite a feat, considering I'm alone staring at a screen! Nice, nice!
