I have a good friend whom I've never met,
He reads the same kinds of books that I like.
He's been there for me, here on the Internet,
In ways that I couldn't begin to describe.
I needed a novel to finish one particular set,
But I couldn't find one that I'd pay that price--
Rich bought it and gave it to me as a free gift,
What did I ever do to deserve a friend that's so nice?
We chat back and forth about old Pulp Magazines,
And we pray for each other all the time.
I wish we could be closer than just words on this screen,
I know I would never come close to a better friend if I tried.
