Are you kidding me?

What would I do with a million pounds?

"I'd get a great big turnip in the country." :D

Whether we need it or not...unknown...but I would be interested to know how many members have read even one chapter of the Koran. I am not Islamic and I have no point of view about it or agenda concerning it. Pure curiosity. quasimodo1

Oh, for Pete's sake! I started this poll in the general chat section because it was meant to be a chatty joke sort of a thing. I post in this part of the forum because it is an engaging and amusing way to spend time and blow off some steam. Why is it so wrong to just have something silly and amusing?

If someone wishes to start a serious poll, that's fine, but polls regarding religious texts should be posted in the religious texts subforum.

Don't know about a poll but I think having a Pole might be a good idea!

Where is Stan when you need him? http://i2.tinypic.com/ziwz95.gif

Well, if there would be polls aboout turnips, people might have negative views about them and vote in a negative manner. And as we all know turnips should rule the world, I don't think so there is any need for public voting for that! :p

Did you ever stop to consider that your incessantly cheery and uplifting behaviour might be irritating? Is it not possible that "silly and amusing" trifles such as this thread not only aggravate other members but also tend to actively diminish their appreciation of the more serious, gritty aspects of human existence?

:D ;)

Love ya, Kathy. :) Oh, and this thread was so vexing I had to vote "Undecided." ;) A question of such import requires due deliberation. ;)

Speaking of Aimus...anyone know where he went off to?

I went with the turnips. I just picked 40 lbs of turnip greens out of the garden and from here they seem to rule the world. That is until the beans start making!

You know, you are absolutely correct. I never considered the issue from that perspective. I think I am going to have to present myself in a far more grumpy, gritty way, and post accordingly. Starting, um...sometime soon. ;)

Love ya, Kathy. :)
Right back at ya. :)
