Eugene is a 20 year old male suffering from severe learning difficulties and a mild level of mental retardation renderning him unable to actively contribute to society in any "meaningful" way, his opportunities limited to sweeping floors and collecting rubbish. Through a company known as Better Opportunities Limited Eugene gains the opportunity to improve his intelligence significantly through surgical procedures, and although quite risky, it is an opportunity he nor his family are willing to overlook. Throughout the course of his surgery Eugene intends to post blogs and updates his MySpace page based upon his experiences and expresses his new found knowledge and learning abilities, while the company also has a page which it plans to similarly provide updates on Eugene's progress from a more professional point of view.
The first operation is due to take place tomorrow and posts are expected a short time after from both Eugene and Better Opportunities Limited regarding his progress. Please feel free to add him and track his progress as he is very keen to meet new people and share his experience with everyone.
