AD means Anno Domini from Latin meaning the Year of the Lord. This will be too late for you but for any body else looking for the same information this should help.

What an odd question.

Not really, the question was a genuine question especially as Nitli is not English. Nevertheless, the information is easily available on the web. For any one else with questions on the definition of a word or abbreviation go to www.dictionary.com.

I thought most places use the same anglo year calendar, though. That is, on most places on earth, it's 2007. So I thought that most people would understand that her year is about 800,000 years in the future.
