Man, am I getting good with these random tittles. Anyway since I'll soon be leaving (don't worry I'm like the terminator: I'LL BE BACK!) I decided to post one last thread (or two).
I have recently been told I look like one literary character (if i have enought answers I'll say which :p ). This sparks my curiositi have you, ANY of you ever been told you looked like a book character. If so, which character (what book too) have you been told you looked like?
If you've never been compared then what character do you think you look like?
Yup feel free to rant all you want.
Luv,
Jin.

Ive been compared to Polonius, Gildro Lockhart (from harry potter) and Marvin (from a hitchhikers guide to the galaxy)
I'm not sure they are the most accurate, but I've been told. :D

I've never been compared to any literary or movie character.
I've been told I look like a virgin, a devil, a guy, a primary school teacher, 16 y/o (when I was 23), someone with a PhD and various other silly things, though.
edit: also been mistaken for an Italian, Jew, Englishwoman and whatnot

None of the novels characters I have read about are that much addicted to this forum as I am! :p So I guess I don't look like any of them! :p

well...I've been told I look elvish...delicate features though NOT delicate build ....I've also been told I look like 6 when I was 10...that was annoying...Lots of my friends think of me as Jane from Pride and Prejudice.

Jane? OOh, you must be quite pretty. I always liked Elizabeth thought.

05-30-2007, 11:31 AM
no, no, not pretty. Rather ordinary when it comes to looks. According to everyone, my disposition is like Jane's. Gentle. If I do say so myself

I've been compared to Elizabeth, but the first thing that comes to my mind when I think about Jane is beauty. *sorreee*

I've been often told that i look like a manga comic character (i don't know which character though) :flare: (i've been also asked by people i didn't know, if my dad is a japanese person. Figures..)
I've been also told that i look like Amelie :flare: , so if you combine the two comments you'll have sufficient reason to believe that it MUST be my hair  .

That's a really interesting question. I mean, simply the idea of looking like a character who can only be visualized in someone's mind is quite fascinating.
Unfortunately, I've never been compared to a literary character based on looks. I have been compared to Hermione from Harry Potter but that's only because of the studious image I had in high school. It was before there were any films - I think now it would be difficult for most people to think of Hermione without picturing Emma Watson - whom I look nothing like and am not similar to in any way (including the fact that I'm 10+ years too old).

Blond? I've not been blond since I was 2 years old. Do I have a picture of me with blond hair elsewhere on this forum (with the exception of this post that is)

OMGA....you cannot claim to be an ogre with such a cute baby picture as that. I'm sorry...I did say cute.
I suppose most men would be curling their toes in distaste at a woman calling a picture of them as a toddler cute, but hey...you posted it! :p

Well, there is no danger of me being thought cute now (rugby has seen to that).
When I looked that that I was once mistaken in a shop for a little girl. The shopkeep tried to sell my mother a bangle for "her pretty daughter"
