Joseph Heller Quote In Night Of Museum???

i'm currently working on a paper on joseph heller. while researching, i stumbled upon a quote that just jumped out at me, "Some men are born Mediocre men, some men achieve mediocrity, and some men have mediocrity thrust upon them."
Ironically, I just saw the movie The Night of the Museum, and there is quote similar to this. Something along the lines of, "Some men are born great, others have greatness thrust upon them." Is this quote based upon Joseph Heller's or is there just a general quote that both heller and the movie drew upon?
