HA, I wish  . Althought I did win it in my original country. That's why I'm here now :p . Anyway, we all got forum nicknames, and real life names.

But what's you real life nickname? (Its it silly or just plain weird?) Please tell.

By the way I've about three nicks: Jin, ED, and JC. :D

The weirdest nickname I have is because of my FMA obbsession, *blush* my friends are still calling me Edward!

Buba and Dobri.
My oldest brother got first nickname and after that all family got that nick. Every of 5 males is now Buba :D Sometimes you're not sure who someone needs on the phone. Hello, can I get Buba on the phone? Which one do you need? Hmmm, what's his name...:D
Dobri is The Good One, like Goodman. I think there's no need for explanation :D

Haven't really got one atm. At primary school I was 'Donkeydrop', because my surname's Horsfall, at Secondary School I was 'Neddy', and I was once 'J.C.' at work, because of my beard and (then) long hair.

At school I was sometimes called "Anski", but I never liked the name. Sometimes my friends call me "Annande", but usually I'm just Anna.

Some of my family calls me Scare Bear. I think my Dad started it when I was really young, I've just always had it. It's kinda evolved to anything that rhymes with scare, my mom calls me square alot, and my cousin calls me Warah (rhymes with Sarah)
Wei, short for my last name.

There have been a few of them of the years, here are the most memorable:

Droo-P-Drawers (which gradually became just Droo-P)

Pip (stems from the fact that the first serious book I read was Great Expectations when I was 7 - only my father ever calls me this)

Caveman (due to my walking style and my rugby playing method - very much straight forward, generally I used to initiate the contact even when I had the ball, yeah I like pain I'm weird)

Cartman (nickname given to me by my friends at high school - when I emmigrated my g/f at the time gave me a cartman cap to remember her, yes I still have the cap)

Man, I want to win the lottery. It seems that the air conditioner has broken and I am sitting here in hell (at least I've got internet)! Did I tell you that the TV broke? We were watching it and there was a popping noise and the TV went black and there was no more.

It was Hewlett Packard TV manufactured especially for Sam's Club (you can't get that model anywhere else -- like if you went to Best Buy and tried to buy that model number they wouldn't have it --- in case that wasn't clear :D )

ANYWAY! We bought the TV in November and we had problems. You would turn it on and a blue light would flash and then nothing would come on. Then you would have to unplug it and count to thirty and do a little dance in front of the TV and then plug it back while holding your mouth a certain way.

This went on for a while and then it just wouldn't turn on, no matter how many times I plugged and unplugged it and danced and held my mouth open for ten seconds while reciting the lords prayer. So HP came out and repaired it to no avail and then they gave us a replacement.

Sometimes, it still wouldn't power on and we would have to do the ritual dance, but it came on. And last night, all was going well until the popping noise. We called Sams and asked if we could just get a refund and they said YES! So we got our credit and got a different one. Let's hope it works!!!

(:fingers crossed:)

And at long last: my nicknames (that I'm aware of at least -- I'm sure some meanies thought of some pretty clever mean ones behind my back) -- Rhino, sara-bellum and squisher.

Hm I took this screen name from the real life nickname I had at the time, but only very few people (friends from school) still call me that.

Kitty is such an Irish thing to call a kathleen or a kathrine. I think it is a lovely pet name. My great grandmother went by Kitty. I've read letters of my great grandfather to her and they are all 'To My Dearest Kitty.' i think its a very personal pet name for someone.

I've got a couple:

Through out hs my social studies teacher (and eventually the rest of the social department) called me pierre because of my berret. (which later earned me the nick name Che at my previouse job and university)

I have also been known as Captain Jerk - but usally only when I go on road trips with my family, it has to do with my crazy navigating, and take no guff captainitude (a spoof of captain kirk - thats what my family calls me) Gandalf the almighty ( a weird story behind that one) Leetor the destroyer of worlds (again a weird story - but only one person calls me that)

also my family calls me Pippen (it all started when my younger sister said that me and my youngest sister were alot like marry and pippen from lotr, starting fires and attracting nazgoul, shoving dead dwarves down pits and generally causing havoc, chaos and dissorder and but not really on purpose)

Oh, my friends call me Webster, because I'm the walking dictionary. Everyone comes to me asking about definitions or spellings. One day someone called me Webster and it just kind of stuck. I thought it was stupid at first, but I like it now.
