HA! Gotcha! You looked!

Ok. Now to get serious. I'm working on my 2nd book (my first book is halway done) and I need some ideas. Write whatever comes off the top of your head: a scene, a character, a description.

C'mon. Work. I need fresh imagery!

Erm. If you finish the first book you'll know what the second book will be about.

Yeah. But I'm trying to write a second book completely unrelated to the first book, since the first book is going throught revision.

Any particular genre you care to stay within?

Sci-fi/romance. I'm trying to make my book as realistic as possible while still creating a story that people may want to read. My work is focused more towards teenagers than adults, by the way.

The Beauty of the Egg. Why Egg are Egg-shaped and not the shape of star. What came first the Egg or chicken? What is a Egg head? Why can't eggs fall in love but have to fall in love with a sperm? Why women produce eggs and not men? Where did the Eggness come from? Was Egg the Begining, the middle and the End? If so who created the Egg in the first place? And Eggs are heading for Androgeny? What is an androgenous Egg?

:-) :-)

I am just kiddin :-)

If you are writing for teenage audience - best theme is Surviving Crushes and And urequited love and acne of course ....

Curious to know what is your first book is about... :-)

*blush* It's a sci-fi, alternate unniverse, supperpower people kinda thing. (At least my friends will read it). It's called Pyro.

I used to love reading scifi...favourite authors included Asimov and Arthur C Clarke...

Sounds good whatever the un-uinverse is :-)
I hope people still fall in love in the un-universe and Football as a sport never exists :-)

Sadly, I only have the last volume of the foundation series. I don't want to read it 'til i get the first. I use asimovs ideas a lot on my stories *for some reason i always end up writing about androids*

First is the best - so you might as well as wait for it :-)

Androids are indeed are fascinating to write about. Mr. Data in Star Trek is very interesting. And in the book "Silver Metal Lover" women finally got rid of their men folk and started to take Android as lovers (well not exactly) but Android and human love story is quite intriguing because the story is in way is as old as the Pygmallion... :-)

I even have a book draft about a character who is an android, but he looks so human that he doesn't know it. It's unfinished thought.

Sounds familiar - would he be called HALy Potter? :-)

But go with the Android thing - it is fascinating :-)

Noooo. He would be called A.I.den (or A.I.dan) it's still on draft.

Thank you for giving me some ideas anyway. Maybe one day I'll get to publish the first human-android sci-fi futuristic romance novel.

A little too obvious, if you ask me.

Yeah, I guess. I designed the carachter to have two names. One tattooed on his arm and one he gave himself when he woke up with amnesia. *blush* I guess I'm not the best of writers. Poetry is more my thing.

Even the best of writers edit. Besides, if I told you the LONG list of terrible parallel names I've had to edit from my stories, A.I.den would be nothing to blush over.

*heh* Thanks.

I just need to find a cool sounding yet robotic name. something that you would see on a tv series, but i have no ideas. That's one of the reasons for this thread.

:-) Bueno! It will be fantastic I am sure. But it would have to be a Tragic Love Story in the vein of Romeo and Juliet ok? :-)

Look forward to reading it one day :-)

Gracias Lote, pero tragic love stories are so sad, I would do it more of a trilogy thingy or overthrowing evil society kinda thing.

Gracias Lote, pero tragic love stories are so sad,...

Aye lassie it is so. It says something about the nature of our existence...of being human...of desire and dreams...of unfilment...

I would do it more of a trilogy thingy or overthrowing evil society kinda thing.

And love shall conquer this Evil Society :-)

Computers that threaten the liberty of man! that's never been done! or has it? *queue quirky matrix theme song*

it could be a good literary piece of work if that sort of theme was made into the form of a book. There probably has been anyway. Other than that, I'm all out. Apart from an evil talking toaster.. and it's owners can't hear it (think Family Guy:Stewie)

I think the computer take-over thing has been a bit overdone. But I'm hoping to bring some new light into the subject with human-like androids :)

Human-like androids very much reminds of Realians from Xenosaga I, II, and III. Have you ever played the games? They're RPG. :] Lots o' funnnn, I promise.
