I'm writing a paper for art, and I was wondering if anyone on here knew of a really clean nice looking Crucifixion piece from the renaissance or before. I'm comparing two paintings of the same subject matter or iconography, and I was going to compare Grunewald's crucifixion to one a little less disturbing. I've looked at a bunch, but I'm not satisified with the ones I saw, so any suggestions would be nice.

I think there are plenty.... really really really plenty of them! I've seen a very good one last year during a boring lesson (sorry, not fond of art in the sense of visual art...especially in a course!) in a museum, but I doubt I can find a pic... Do you have any hurry for this project, or can I take my time to look for stuff? Btw kik, you have 999 posts!

YAY! I didn't even realize that I broke 1000 until just now! Thanks Koa.
I know there are plenty, but if I just google "crucifixion" images I get sooooo many contemporary ones, so I was wondering if anyone knew a good clean one off hand to make my searching easier. The one I'm comparing it to is pretty gross.
Btw, I don't know the Grunewald one you're talking about...(no wonder, I'm a barbar when it's about art...). Is it important that it's from renaissance or before? Maybe you can find name of main artists of those periods, and look for them, they all painted only religious stuff up to a certain point in history...
Here is some Giotto for example...maybe it's not the sort of thing you're looking for, but let's try... http://www.magdalene.org/cross/giotto.jpg

I went with Raphael:http://www.mezzo-mondo.com/arts/mm/raphael/RAF002.html And I'm comparing it to Grunewald's:http://www.kristisiegel.com/gallery3.html
I hope that worked. Otherwise you can google them and see the pics I'm talking about. Thanks for your suggestions.
