Some books are tied to places or at least in my mind they are, for example. When I think of Kansas I think of "In Cold Blood", Louisiana - "All the Kings Men" (Anybody see a coincidence?:D ).

Are there any others that come to mind?

OK, one more Hogwarts - Harry Potter;)

Any books by Agatha Christie I tend to associate with quaint English villages with a dark murderous underside. Whether the actual particular book is set in a village or not.

As for your choices, I do see a theme there.... ;)
