Rikkit, you know Morrisonhotel is right. If you need help and need it fast and you do sound pretty deparate on your posts... You need to explain clearly what your assignment is and then do a bullet point on things you would like to know about the genre. I have to find examples of Romance in victorian literature and poetry. ...
so it would be like,

Romance appears in many pieces of Victorian literature, such as in the novel ____ by _____. " _______" (then i would have a quote that shows romance.. like something about love and touching or candlelight, dancing or whatever, etc.)

I was wondering if anyone knows any books or novels or poems with romance in them?

I am also wondering if anybody knows anything about the painting, The Outcast by Richard Redgrave.. what is it saying about women? Has the woman committed adultery in the picture? Does anything relate to "fallen" women? If you can help please do! Thanks!!

there's nothing else i can really say except that i need quotes from novels or poems from the victorian time period that illustrate a "romance" theme. and a few posts ago i showed how it should be written.

Does anybody know ANYTHING at all about victorian theatre?? Are there certain themes in victorian theatre, like main ones? If anybody could be of anyhelp please post anything you know about victorian theatre (plays) thank you!!!

One thing that you might want to play with is the poetry of Alfred Lord Tennyson from before and after the coronation of Vicky. Notice the lack of change. While the Victorian Era is called after the Queen, the philosophical underpinnig was already in place.

Try any of the following: Tennyson (e.g. 'Lady of Shallott'), Browning (e.g. 'Meeting at Night') and Barrett Browning (e.g. 'How do I love thee? Let me count the ways' or 'Aurora Leigh'). From what you've written above, I think you might need a bit more of a pointed discussion - do you have a question or a statement you are working from?

Can anyone please describe to me the language of Victorian literature? I'm doing a paragraph on "Victorian language" and how the literature is written.. I think it's "prudent" and proper and everything, but does anyone know anything else? Thanks!
