Are there any good books you can recommend-literary or otherwise-on, or set during, the Crusades?
Im getting into one of my history reading binges.
Thanks

"The Talisman" Walter Scott
"Knight with Armour" & "Count Bohemond" Alfred Duggan
"Jerusalem" Cecilia Holland
Just to start with.
And, for history,
the last third of Gibbon's "Decline & Fall of the Roman Empire,"
Geoffrey de Villehardouin "Chronicle of The Fourth Crusade and The Conquest of Constantinople"
