I have a paper for my world lit class, and was wondering if anyone could help, because I barely understand trhe topic.
Examine Conrad's Heart of Darkness and two other writers in this unit. Analize the relationship between modernist writers' breach with their cultural past and the theme of alianation in their work. Consider, for example, how the incongruities in the writing may be juxtaposed for shocking and/or humorous effects, but also the responses to these effects that are suggested by the naratives (This is the part I do not really understand). Explain the reasons why you think your conclusions regarding the above realationship is valid.
