I have convinced myself that if this thread can resucitated before it ends up on the second page of posts, it could provide some very interesting results

Simply Post a poem composed whilst being subjected to a previously posted instrumental track, and then follow it with a suggested track of your own.

Hopefully this can provide some powerfully atmospheric and abstract verse

I Begin with:

Stone In Focus: - Aphex Twin

or

Sombre Reptiles: - Brian Eno

Ive also located some Youtube Videos that are rather beautiful if you do not own the tracks

Stone In Focus

tip drips of a somber-sigh spring, crackling clean,
clear ice of winters-end spring, and morning yawns
snorts and snarls of dawns-red spring sky, reflected
mirrored in opacity, changed in an echo of glass-melt
Om, throbbing, humming, then a whistle soft and low
bird-sky-melt, and the red sun, the sun of tomorrow

-triskele-

there, that was a bit of a meditative piece about the Aphex Twin song, and now for a bit more lively piece, it is

Scotch and Chocolate by Nickel Creek

i have checked, and this can be found on youtube, so write away my fellow bards.
