Never thought it would come down to this
I thought I meant more to you than this

Always knew it would come down to this
Always knew I didn’t mean ****.

Hoped and prayed for the day when you’d pull out.
Thought once or twice you had gave it up.

Stole and sinned to get the next hit.
Giving up to you, just meant coming down.

I thought you’d realize, when you saw her blue eyes.
Daddy’s got to get straight.

You instead went away.

She cried for daddy, the first two weeks you were away.
Now when anyone speaks your name she has a blank expression on her face.

You don’t exist to her, just like she didn’t exist to you.
The flames of hope that flared in my heart for you were extinguished by the desire to stay high.

Was it worth it?

all is well with you.

OK. The poem expresses your pain and anger very well. I dislike profanity in poetry, expecially when applied to the poet. Poetry uses colorful, beautiful language, not common gutter words. Find a better way to word this, as you are not what you are, and that's not you talking but the person with whom you are angry. Why come down to his level? Tell him what he lost, not what he thinks you are, but what you are, THEN ask if he's happy! http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l108/AbsalomKane/RCG.gif
