1984 cause and effect chart

Hello, I need to make a chart for 1984 displaying the cause and effects or ( how the action moves along ) basically just the main parts of the story, and its hard for me to interpret what can be considered the main parts of this story, as its design is so genious that it must be read fully to understand. The chart must also consider the roles that characters play, Including Big Brother. If anyone can bullet out about 10-15 points that would be absolutly genious. Please Help. Thanks for your time.
