I'm revising for an English Literature exam at uni and one of the texts I've decided to study is Bernard Shaw's play 'Man and Superman'. The genre of this play is referred to on a few sites as an 'idea play'. I've never come across this term before, though, and am not entirely sure what it means. I can't find any sort of definition on the net so was just wondering if anyone could help me?
