I read the most inspiring story (http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2007/05/03/national/main2759271.shtml?source=110667) today about this guy Valentino Achak Deng who is getting all kinds of critical acclaim for writing his life story, which heavily deals with his time as one of the "Lost Boys" in Sudan, and now he uses it as an occasion to speak out about the atrocities currently going on in Darfur. I think the proceeds from his book all to go to a foundation to try and improve life in his home country.

His book sounds like it must be fascinating - I'd love to hear him speak on his book tour. I hope a lot of people listen. How awful it must be to have gone through the nightmares that that country has.

i don't suppose anybody has read this or head anything about him?

I want to give info about darfur. sudan ministry ask to turkish football players hasan sas and hakan sukur to come over to sudan and play football at both sides to stop this crazy conflict.
meanwhile if you remember us military forces lost war in sudan so many years ago. this is same way of Irak: show to worl that bad thinks happening there and made reason to attack there.
