Thorns grown up on innocent
Flower’s chest
Eyes are bleeding
Parents just got divorced

Simple sad poem, Ashy, if you don't mind the nickname, I have rather bad habit of shortening people's names. Ash trees are lovely, by the way, so it isn't an insult. And a good reply, Shadowy. My own dad was never more than a picture on the wall and one remembered hug. He left before I was 5, came back for 3 weeks before I turned 8, and I didn't see him again until I was in my twenties and married. The sad thing was his brother and two sisters lived here and he'd come to see them, but not his boys. My younger brother really met his dad at his high-school graduation. I think that divorce is such a hard thing to deal with, I have 4 older siblings and my parents were seperated for most of my life and only divorced when I was 15. I found it very difficult, and still do. I think that with the divorce rate that keeps on getting higher and higher I look to marriage and I want to be especially careful...
I have always been a hopeless romantic.. I am a sucker for the chick flick, but after seeing how my parents ended their marriage and just how badly it affected my siblings and I.. I feel that you can never be too careful..
and Pendragon, I know EXACTLY how you feel/must of felt..
