Hi everybody...

I need the point of view of a Teach!

In my school English is taught as a second language..

My teacher, that I admire very much, encourages my class to read stories, Cuz in our school she is not allowed to teach a whole novel to students, instead she gives us about two months to read any story or novel, then give her a summarization after we finish...I almost finished mine.. :)

But still I'm feeling very thirsty to read, I'm in the 8th grade, and I wanted to ask Teachers here about the best books they read when they were my age... and to advise me read some specific stories and Poems, as I don't want wrong books to fall in my hands..

I'm from that kind that loves studying (not all Subjects :D) so would you. please , give me any poem to study...

Tell me what a 14 years old should read.

What kind of books you like (genre, style, etc.)?
What books have you read by now? Which books did you like and which not?
