Does anyone want to get over to the Poetry Section?

I would gladly give my opinions on what you prolific writers put into stanzas and verse. This might not belong here and this topic might get deleted and I know I'm a silly noob but I would like to see more poems in the poetry section. (Please don't call me stupid. Call me anything besides stupid if you reply, please. Thanks.)

Poetry has always been a mystery to me. Try as I can I've never figured out the mechanics of creating them or what the 'rules' might be. Have never written any. One book that has gathered dust on the book shelf is a collection of the most famous of them. (My kids never opened it--got it when we thought they might need it for school. When I do pull it out I generally look up In Flanders Fields--get depresed and stop. I have this feeling that poetry is 'supposed' to be melancholy and I walk to much in those waters. I've heard comments on your poetry Adol and am almost about to get curious and check yours out and any critique of mine would be of little value.
