I've only read the first two. I'm a fantasy fan at heart, and I thought that they seemed like an intro to a damn good fantasy series. Admin hates how they drag though. He talks about it in one of The Kahn's posts.

Aye, I read Admin's opinion of them while browsing the forum. I personally can't find any fault with the first seven/eight. The last two drag though and drag badly.
