I'm not sure if this topic belongs here - I apologise if it doesn't.
This year I have to began work on my diploma paper. My professor gave me the topic "Elements of Black Humor in Novels by Ken Kesey", which is definitely not what I would choose (I wanted Fitzgerald but she wouldn't let me :bawling: ).
Not that I don't like Kesey, I do, but the only novel translated into Slovak is One Flew Over Cockoo's Nest, and as for Sailor Song, or Last Go Round, I'm afraid nobody even heard about them. Which means it's terribly difficult to find any literature dealing with Kesey or black humor.
Now, I did find some resources (had to order it from USA, though), but the newest book is from 1991 (but most of them from the beginining of '70s). And that's the problem. I somehow can't believe there wasn't anything published on black humor after 1991. If there was, and I don't mention it in my paper, my opponent will rip me to pieces. But I simply can't find any other resources through internet (not even trough ProQuest etc. via my library).
Problem is, that while I've got plenty of time to write the paper (by the February next year), I have to hand in the list of my resources by the end of June, and after that, I'm allowed only minor changes in the list.
So please, please, PLEASE, if you by any chance know about anything, let me know.
Thanks! :)
