Come celebrate my year...

Hi, fellow forumers. I would like to invite you to celebrate an anniversary with me. Being a sentimental person, I wanted to remember my one year with this forum. Although it isn't quite a year yet (I joined on April 24) I decided to post this today.

Although being a member here may not seem like anything much to some, it means a great deal to me. I have never been a particularly sociable person in "real life" for one reason or another, and this forum has given me a chance to change that.

I have been lucky to meet people from across the globe and find that although geography seperates us, books bring us together. Thank you for being part of my year.

Happy Lit Net anniversary Kathy! I would like to come to the party also, but I am going to have to scrounge around for some more party food. No offense Scher, but some of those sausages look downright scary (or is it just me -- because it could be. I am taking a medication that has suppressed my appetite so much that I can walk by the Dunkin Donuts at work and not be interested in the least)?

Anyway, you were one of the members I noticed right away when I started coming here a couple of months later and I do hope you stick around! (now I am going to search for some appetizers)

Time flies when you're having fun. Congrats on the anniversary. Was cruising thru the topics (at work--way too quiet right now) and spotted the party notice. But by the time arrive the munchies will be gone. Sigh. Maybe next year.
