what is the fear and security behind all leaders, founder, teachers?
Is the we can only praise because we fear that we may lose our jobs, getting fired, getting banned, gossips? All these are part of the limitation we are living
isn't it not? So I am convince that we all do not want freedom, we like to talkabout freedom and live and fear.
Who is with me on this one?:yawnb:

I happen to think that with absolute freedom there ceases to be freedom.
That's just a guy's opinion, though ;)

One refrains from criticizing one's boss for the same reason that one does so with everyone else - namely, it is unkind.

and disrespectful... your boss has gotten to be the boss through, mainly, working up the ladder.. whether or not you like him/her you owe that person respect and you can learn so much from them..
Even if they can be a pain in the behind...

I've had great bosses, good bosses, and mediocre bosses, and down right terrible bosses. Ultimately your boss has a certain amount of power over your career if not over your job altogether. So that's why one has to be careful in how one criticizes. You should build a relationship with him and phrase your comments appropriately and with respect. It can be done, but it has to be constructive. If you're only going to tell him he stinks, then what will be his reaction? And I wouldn't diss him in front of others. It should be in a private conversation.
