Hi everyone, I just joined and thought I would post a quick intro. I love to read and enjoy thoughtful discussion about the works and ideas. My current favorite genre is stories of the sea and I've been reading O'Brian, Forester, London, and of course Melville. I also read a lot of history, and biographies and memoirs of psychological and physical endurance; books like Born Red, As Far as My Feet Will Carry Me, and Darkness at Noon.
