I have not posted any poetry I had written Because I had a writers block and need some help geting out . If you can help please do :flare: ;) :bawling:  :crash: :) :D
Hiya brokenheart - I really sympathise - writers block is frustrating and troubling but it will pass. Before my daughter was born I wrote almost every day, and afterwards nothing for 3 years! I'm only now starting to get back into the swing of it. My advice to you is not to worry, don't push it, leave the writing, go out and do something else for a while, have some fun and forget about it. Think about it as your mind's way of telling you to take a break, go have some fun, get some new experiences and come back to it refreshed and with more to write about. Try doing something really different, something you wouldn't normally do, enjoy the experience and don't try writing again until the urge takes you.
Hope you can get over it & I hope I've not panicked you over the 3 years - this happened with both my children and for some reason, once they're 3, you can start getting your normal life back!

hey brokenheartpoet.
i've struggled with writer's block before.
the only thing which has ever truly helped me in its regard is to remember that it always passes. sometimes you write a lot and it seems to empty you. but if you let the quiet be, and just give it time it seems that a writer naturally fills with thoughts and words again and before you know it, the words will build until they come shooting out again.
in short, don't be afraid of writer's block.
be aware that it will pass.
and be aware.

Yes,this is excellent advice vodka.
I am a frequent sufferer of writers block and often have a couple weeks when I am on a roll and can't write enough followed by 3 months where I don't write at all. You must learn to accept these times and keep yourself occupied with other things until your mind is clear, then you will probably be ready to write again.
Good luck.
