Help Quote King Lear

hi. im trying to find a quote in King Lear and i cant seam to be able to find it. can anyone remember

its about the chaos that occurs around the kingdom because of king lear. i rmember somthing bout horses biting horses and like normal birds catching eagles or smth like that

If there is no such quote (im sure there is though) wat other quotes couold be used to describe the chaos that occurs inthe play?

Although I can't remember exactly what you're referring to, although I too seem to have an inkling, I suggest you use Albany's

"It will come-
Humanity must perforce prey on itself
Like monsters of the deep."

Albany; Act IV, scene ii


I think that is suitable- the image of cannibalism is really striking and conveys the total breakdown of moral and natural order in Lear's kingdom due to his "sin" of abdicating, and his daughters' treatment of him. Gloucester's earlier words can also be used:

"Love cools, friendship falls off, brothers divide: in cities, mutinies; in countries, discord. in palaces, treason; and the bond crack'd 'twixt son and father."
