need some help

Hi...first of all, let me introduce my self, my name is Sari, I'm a new member in this forum, I came from Indonesia, central java , salatiga to be exact.
I'm working on my opinion paper right now. and the topic of my paper is "Was Jane Austen the most important women novelist ever?"
I admired Jane Austen since I read Pride an Prejudice, then I found this opinion which written by John Burgess Wilson.
When I read her works, I can see that she was an talented writer, but after reading J.B. Wilson opinion, is true that Jane Austen was the most important women novelist? And that is the question that I want to ask. Besides Jane Austen, is there any novelist at that time who can wrote a story as beautiful as Jane Austen?
I really appreciate if you want to share your opinion about Jane Austen, the reasons why she have to be the most important novelist at that time, and give some names of the novelist who wote a novel in the same age as Jane.

one of the reason why she's great is that even though her range is limited, nothing in that little environment of hers escape her scrutiny and irony. like virginia wollf said jane austen is an artist. she believed in this small world she created and, perhaps, enjoyed what she's been doing for the sake of fun. in her novels she created her own world; a world of balls, tea and calling on your neighbors. she can create and, later on, punish her characters with a quick sentence.

another reason why she's great because in those days women generally had very little prospects. jane austen's posthumous success was an inspiration to other female writers; even male writers.

em forster was born about a century after jane austen's birth; and i find how the way they write, their wit, humor and sense of irony, similar.
