In this story there are two doors-one signified life and the other death. In the arena with throngs crowding the galleries, all eyes were glued to the tall, handsome and brave youth.
The princess procured the secret behind which door stood the tiger and behind which waited the lady. As she passionately loved the young man, she was bewildered how to bear the sight of her lover being devoured by the fiercest hungry beast or being married to the fairest lady of the kingdom. Yet she gave a signal. The youth went to the right and opened it. What came out of it? It is left for you to answer.
