Hey, I'm doing a research paper about his work. I tried to see how "Heart of Darkness" relates to Victorian or Romantic Era. Care to help me please :)

I'm not too sure Heart of Darkness is categorized as Victorian. It's more modern in its characteristics.

HOD would surely be categorised as being more influenced by Victorianism than Romanticism since it was written during the reign of Queen Victoria, Romanticism was a movement prevalent a hundred years prior to the writing of HOD and imperialism and the reaction against imperialism was a distinctly romantic and modernist concept. probably this post is too late anyway.
