Duke Of Edinburgh Award

Well, last weekend (22nd-24th) I did my 50km walk for me DOE silver award. It was the hardest thing i have ever done in my life, i cried and cried so damn much. It was my birthday on the 23rd so that wasn't much fun.

Has anyone else done any of the awards and how was you expedition. We went through Wadi's in 25-30 C heat.

I'm doing Gold at the momnet. Our October practice was terrible; our teacher advised on some of the routes, but didn't change them even though the weather made them reallly dangerous... so I dislocated my knee at one point, halfway up a really big hill in the middle of the pouring rain. Not fun.

But in a weird way, I love doing all of that D of E stuff. It's kind of fun. And yay!!! only one more expedition to go!!!:banana:
