:crash: <---This is me after a week of work on a single quote.

"The twentieth century will be chiefly remembered by future generations
not as an era of political conflicts or technical inventions, but as an
age in which human society dared to think of the welfare of the whole
human race as a practical objective."
Arnold J. Toynbee

All I can find is that Lester Bowles Pearson attributed this quote to Toynbee during his 1957 Nobel acceptance speech. If anybody can help me find out where/when Toynbee said/wrote this quote, I would be eternally grateful. I've already read the first 10 volumes of "Study of History" and to my best observation, I don't think it's there. Anyone have any ideas?
